Teaching Philosophy
As an educator, I prioritize student-centered learning by fostering relationships that empower students to take responsibility for their own learning journey. I set high expectations, challenging students while respecting and adjusting expectations to their current abilities, and promote and model a growth mindset. I encourage students to push beyond perceived limitations, find their voice, explore their passions, set personal goals, and understand that challenges should be viewed as learning opportunities- all confidence building skills that will serve them into adulthood.
